I’ve struck up an “eFriendship” with a fine gentleman, prophecy student and teacher, private detective, and former minister – Dennis Bozung.  He shared these words with me a couple of days ago.  I thought they were so well said, I asked him if I could share his message to me with my readership.  He graciously agreed.   The message is short – but not so sweet. Nevertheless, it is oh so true.  I hope it puts things in perspective as it did for me. — Doug Woodward

Deception is a powerful force operating in today’s churches. End-time prophetic messages should cause a healthy “fear of the Lord” that motivates us to be prepared for what has arrived. I find the exact opposite condition exists in most congregations today.  I am amazed at how many churches are not focused on the message that leads men to repentance, but are rather preoccupied with meaningless babel that require no change from sinful behavior.

When I was in the ministry years ago, I was heavily involved with men, whom I highly respected, John Osteen, T.L. Osborn, Norvel Hayes, Lester Sumrall, R.W. Schambach, and scores of other preachers of integrity.  Now I see a massive dark hole in what passes for the “most influential” ministries of the day. The Crouches, “Joel” Osteen, Benny Hinn, Rick Warren, and his nefarious teachings and so many others, in my opinion who are leading the sheep into apostasy.

Perplexing as it is, most churches do not touch the subject of endtime Bible prophecy. This is the direct result of 25+ years of misaligned priorities that have obscured the Truth of the Gospel and fostered illicit teachings that continue to dominate the dogma of churches here in the United States.  Back in the day of my journeys to West African, the West Indies and Central American, I found Believers exercising faith each and every day just to stay alive. These environments demanded daily attention to prayer and faith for the basic sustenance of life and protection against very real threats to their existence. Of course, these indigenous people had their own unique “demons” to battle however, opulent decadence was not at the top of the list.

America christians have failed to identify real and serious persecution due to one’s profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  For the most part, we have considered the “test of our faith” centered on challenges to our pocket books with our focus of learning on supporting ideas that help us to obtain and achieve everything that we could want or dream of.  Our American life style, even on our worst day, is an experience that is completely foreign to most of our Brethren who live in other nations of the world. The distractions of “comfort and plenty” has been mistakenly interpreted by American christians as a Divine “sign of approval” upon our lives, regardless of how we have lived.  We are all guilty … Forgive us Lord.

Regardless of the devious devices of men and Masons, God truly blessed the United States with freedom and prosperity for a specific reason. We have confused our salvation with our “way of living”. This has led us to the present state of our spiritual condition. Mystery Babylon, the whore, has proudly and arrogantly proclaimed to the world,  “How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.” And for this reason, the purpose of her existence will be extinguished.  The light of a lamp (Word of God) will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom (Jesus), and bride (Church) will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world’s important people. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.” (Revelation 18:7)

We have squandered our inheritance, we will pay the dearest price. And the church continues to sleep, unaware of what awaits her remaining days on the earth. Will He find faith on Earth when He returns?
