MOST WHO FOLLOW ME KNOW I BELIEVE RUSSIA WILL EXECUTE A FIRST STRIKE ATTACK ON THE U.S. SOON. However, that does not mean we should take steps to frighten Russia into such an attack. Nor should we wish it to happen for any reason, even if we think it will hasten the coming of the Lord.

So, while I believe there is a need to bolster and renew our nuclear capability (and continue to refresh our Navy and Air Force), I am NOT in favor of confronting Russia. Especially now. I believe it is much to our advantage to seek rapprochement at this time. I believe that Trump is playing the right tune. The current climate of Senators McCain and Graham taking shots at the President Elect is unacceptable. They confirm the reports from the CIA (and 16 other intelligence agencies!) that Russia hacked the election despite the fact that the CIA has consistently lied to the American public for the past 50 years. Methinks they have a hidden agenda in doing so. Remember that Colin Powell assured the UN and the American public that Saddam had WMD based upon the “consensus opinion of the (then) 16 intelligence agencies, with every allegation supported by ‘ironclad proof'”. Several years later, Powell admitted that the CIA lied about this intelligence and misled him and everyone else. So excuse me if I continue to believe there is less than ample proof that Russia was clearly the hacker of record. The CIA cannot be trusted. And that is most unfortunate. Would that they had credibility with the American people.
I am generally appreciative of Joel Rosenberg, his writings, and his counsel. However, once again he has blogged that Trump and Pence should confront Putin because Putin has proven himself to be a criminal. Rosenberg does amass a good amount of historical fact to point out that Putin can be ruthless and dangerous to American interests. If Trump believes otherwise, then Trump is a fool. However, it is most unwise to call out Putin and start WWIII. And for a Christian to take such a hawkish stance is also questionable. Read Rosenberg’s article (see the link below), but understand I am disagreeing with his advice to confront Russia.

Rosenberg asserts that the CIA report can be relied upon and that Putin certainly did hack the election. I think Joel Rosenberg needs to do more research like those of us who have challenged such findings based upon the deception at the core of CIA history. It isn’t hard to conclude that the CIA has influenced the media, indeed even controlled it, ever since Project Mockingbird from the 1960s. This is documented by many researchers. I published an article on this history just a few days ago. You can find a plethora of facts therein.

Let me identify the factors that make it extremely dangerous to fight a war with Russia right now: (1) Russia has nuclear superiority both offensively and defensively (JR Nyquist, Ben Baruch and I discuss this in their book, THE NEXT TACTICS OF GLOBAL WAR); (2) Nuclear weapons are essentially the only weapons with which Russia can fight a world war (their conventional weapons are too few in number to threaten countries outside (practically speaking) a 1,000 mile radius around Moscow; (3) Russia may have a hair-trigger. Russia has always believed that the US would launch a first strike against Russia and China. Their calculus continues to see this as a realistic outcome of the not-so-veiled threats being spoken at this time by some of America’s leaders. The Russian assessment has considerable historical precedent. “Going Nuclear” almost happened during the Korean War (Eisenhower’s threat to use “the bomb” finally brought North Korea to the negotiating table). And we came extremely close to all-out Nuclear War in the 1967 Six-day War fought between Israel and its neighbors. President Lyndon Johnson was ready to drop Nuclear Weapons on Egypt (US fighter-bombers had left an aircraft carrier loaded with Nukes and were called back only 2 minutes before dropping them on Cairo). Meanwhile, B-52s were on alert to drop nukes on both Moscow and China (“The People’s Republic of China should not be left to profit from a Nuclear War between the US and the Soviet Union” — so said Lyndon Johnson, according to one researcher interviewed in the film, ISRAEL’S BOMB). If we were going to take out the Soviet Union, we would destroy China at the same time. This was the Cold War logic that seems to be creeping back into the thinking of the “hawks” like McCain and Graham.
The America people need to make it clear. We have been at war long enough. Neo-conservative thinking has failed. We are not the WORLD

hegemon that they assert we are. (See the recent book by F. William Engdahl, The Lost Hegemon).
Therefore, in my estimation, it is most unwise to be making threats and “picking up rocks to throw at Russia” to paraphrase Neocon John
Bolton. Rosenberg needs to give up his “patriotic and vitriolic” thinking that has dominated American policy with Russia for the past ten years. If we do not “give peace a chance” we will indeed face a war with Russia — and it is a war that we will not win.
For more of my thinking on this subject, I invite you to purchase my short study, IS RUSSIA DESTINED TO NUKE THE U.S.? and the deeper study of biblical prophecy and the role of the United States and Russia, THE NEXT GREAT WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST. You can find both of these books at my author page on Amazon. Both books are available on Kindle and well as in paperback. You can also find the eBook available on iBooks (Apple), Nook (Barnes and Noble), and LuLu (ePub) formats.
